People roar with wit in response to Anand Mahindra’s lioness caption call. Check winning entry

Anand Mahindra recently took to Twitter to share a picture of a lioness with a camera in her mouth. Inviting people to caption it, he promised a toy truck to the creator of the best caption. Taken by wildlife photographer Barbara Jensen Vorster in Botswana back in 2018, the image quickly became a canvas for imaginative captions on the micro-blogging site. While each one was better than the other, Anand Mahindra announced the winning caption a few hours ago.

“I’ve been reminded that I haven’t done a caption call for quite a while now. So here’s something to compete for your time on a Sunday! Send me your proposed caption for the image of the lioness on the left. And the writer of the best caption—in my opinion—will receive a model Mahindra #Furio model toy truck shown in the video on the right. Entries have to be given by 3 pm IST on Tuesday 9th May. On your marks, get set…,” wrote Anand Mahindra on Twitter.

Alongside, he shared a picture of a lion holding a camera in its mouth and a video of a toy truck which he intends to offer as a reward.

Take a look at the tweet below:

Mahindra announced the winner a few hours ago. He wrote, “Announcing the winner of my most recent caption contest. Congratulations, @nimishdubey A clever & compact caption….” The winning caption is: “Say ‘cheese’. Or I will say ‘lunch’.”

Mumbai Police replied, “Would you like your next generation to see me on camera or on the ground?” They even added the hashtag #LionKing. A Twitter user wrote, “Please… Like, Sher & Subscribe…!!” “Enough of selling my photos with 1.0$ETH, I never signed any consent form for you, let’s make the deal first,” added another. A third commented, “I own everything here; I am the Queen!” “Photography is a roaring passion for me!” joined a fourth. A fifth shared, “Simba-razzi , when she can own her paparazzi!”
