Shared on Facebook, the video shows an alligator roaring at an officer in Florida as he tries to capture him on private property. The video has been doing the rounds on social media. It all started when Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in Florida received an unusual call post-midnight from a resident seeking help to remove a giant alligator after spotting it underneath their Jeep. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has posted the video of the incident on their official Facebook page. “Have you ever heard an alligator ROAR? Well, watch this!” read a part of the caption of the video shared on Facebook.

“Earlier this week, deputies responded to a home on Oakland Hills Place in Rotonda around 1 in the morning after the homeowner found a gator underneath their Jeep. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) were called out to assist, and unbelievably enough, this 11′ 2″ gator took out the homeowner’s light pole,” the caption added.

The video opens to show the giant alligator hissing and roaring while an officer attempts to capture it. Towards the end, it shows a picture of the subdued alligator, which signals that the creature was finally caught.
