Archer Aviation, an air taxi company, has finalized an agreement to sell 116 of its Midnight electric flying vehicles to Future Flight Global (FFG) for a deal worth up to $580 million. This transaction brings Archer’s total estimated sales of electric vehicles to around $6 billion. As part of the memorandum of understanding, FFG has made a pre-delivery deposit of $5 million.

Waymo Updates Software to Mitigate Issues

Self-driving technology company Aurora Innovation has successfully raised $483 million through a stock sale, surpassing its initial target of $420 million. This additional funding contributes to the company’s liquidity, which stood at $1 billion as of June. Aurora’s spokesperson noted that this latest capital injection will extend its financial runway beyond the initial deployment of its driverless technology and well into 2026, when the company plans to expand its operations.
