In an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, a few men spotted a great white shark swimming around after hunting a sea lion. Shared on Instagram, the video of the incident has left people both fascinated and scared. There is a chance that the video will make your jaw drop too.

“Hard to believe one week ago this GW monster was having a snack 25 miles off shore when our boat pulled up on it,” Instagram user Ian Pellegrini wrote while sharing the video. The clip, however, captured people’s attention after another Insta user Mike McGill shared the video on his personal Instagram page. “So this happened yesterday on our friend’s boat who leave from the same dock in Mission Bay,” he posted.

The video was shared a few days ago. Since being posted, the clip has accumulated more than 2.8 lakh views and the numbers are only increasing. The video has also received over 10,000 likes. People posted various comments while sharing their reactions to the video.

“Dude!” expressed an Instagram user. “What’s the big blood meat pile floating? From you guys or him?” asked another. To which, McGill replied that it is the remains of a sea lion that the shark hunted. “He nabbed a sea lion,” he wrote. While replying to yet another comment he added that it is Great white shark. “That’s a big ‘no’ for me,” posted a third. “Beautiful! What an experience!” wrote yet another Instagram user.
